About

Makgrarebe is a Setswana word meaning young lady that has evolved over the years to describe anything from an unmarried woman to a diva. If you're a young woman who's spent some time in Botswana you've probably been called a Lekgarebe (singular) at some point. We've embraced this term and describe ourselves as Makgrarebe. Young women with drive and focus who love life and most importantly love fashion.

This blog is a Trans-African love story of two friends separated by time zones and international phone call rates. We decided to keep the fire burning by starting a blog and to keep tabs on each other and share our lives with each other and the world. The things we the love and the experiences we go through as we grow up and change locations. Join us on our journey to conquer Africa and The World one blog post at a time.
